As you will now know, the Prime Minister announced tonight that schools must close from tomorrow (Tuesday 5th January 2021) for all pupils except those that are either deemed to be vulnerable or are the children of key workers. Children can be dropped off in their usual space from 8.30am (please by 8.45am) and school will continue to close at 3pm.
If you are a key worker and/or your child is deemed to be vulnerable then they are able to attend as normal during this next lockdown period which starts tomorrow. This includes breakfast club provision which will continue to open daily at 7.45am.
All other children will be educated via Teams from tomorrow and further information will be provided in the morning to you all around this.
Please be assured that the staff team will continue to work hard to ensure that learning opportunities are maximised in what continue to be challenging times.
As ever, if you have any queries or questions, please do come directly to me on 01706 620305 or at head@woodland.Rochdale.sch.uk
Thanks, as ever, for your continued support.
Mrs Cunningham
