Curriculum enrichment (Resources, trips and visitors)

This will include...

A visit to the pantomime; life bus visit to school;  activities across reading week; visiting poets and artists eg The Shakespeare Company; and eggs and chicks to support work in Early Years classes. Also we have planned a Year 6 residential to Castleshaw; Visits to the Fire Museum and various other visits throughout the year. Year 5 have a weekly Ukulele lessons; specialist music tuition is received by all year groups;  music festival participation; and we run key stage choirs after school twice weekly. We also planned a World War 1 Commemoration week which involved all year groups and included an Imperial War Museum visit and Ani-make history project.

 

Spanish taught throughout year groups,
