This week Hawthorn class worked in groups to create their innovate project in Design and Technology lessons. Our project ‘Beach Huts’ has taught us how to work safely and accurately with wood and how to design and produce an attractive project which meets our design criteria.

This week the Year 2 children took part in a carousel of science experiments to celebrate British Science Week. During the first experiment the children took part in a fair test to investigate whether different objects would sink or float when dropped into water.
WC 26.02.2024
This week the children in Hawthorn class experimented with wood and used junior hacksaws and bench hooks safely. They cut pieces of wood to specific lengths to use in their innovate project.
