2024 - 2025 What have we been doing?
Family homework: Mathematics in the real world.
The ambassadors also set a whole school challenge to how we can use mathematics in the real world, everyday life and even in our future jobs. The ambassadors asked the children to create family posters and then had the hard job of judging our winners. Thank you to all our families for entering this competition - it was very tricky to judge!
NSPCC Number Day
On Friday 7th February 2025 we are holding a NSPCC Number Day at school, our ambassadors have created posters to provide further information:
Whole School Times Table Rockstar Day
In October, we planned a whole school TTRS day. As ambassadors we created posters to inform the children about the plans for the day and on the day we went round the classrooms challenging children and adults to times table challenges in ways such as rapid recall and Bing Bong Zong. We thought carefully about the multiplication facts we should test on in each year groups and adapted our games to help this.
