Application Process
Application and Selection:
Children were selected through discussion with the Inclusion Lead and the SENDCo. These children were then invited to an informal discussion with the SENDCo to get their initial understanding, thoughts and feelings about becoming an Inclusion Ambassador. Children that articulated that they would like to become one, were then formally invited through discussion with themselves and their parents/carers.
Children from EYFS to Y6 were invited and we have 7 children who accepted their invitation to enjoy. These children form an excellent representation of our school body so we can understand how Inclusion works at Woodland and the direct impact that choices made, has on our children.
