Our Learning
For our project Ready, Steady, Grow, we were exploring lots of packaging. We talked about why certain materials are used for particular foods. We discussed what sort of packaging they have seen at home and also whether the packaging could be recycled or not.
During our Attention Autism session, the children very patiently waiting and anticipating what Miss Stannard is going to pull out of the bucket. The when it was time for them to dig in the tray and search for animals and farm related objects they were eager to dive in.
The children did some great listening and paid attention to what was happening in the story. They were able to identify the main character and some of the vegetables that he grew in his garden. They were also able to retell parts of the story.
Our first Attention Autism session was great. All the children were engaged in the session and enjoyed exploring the toys and planting the seeds to grow their own brussels.
Our children have been having lots of puzzling fun by completing jigsaws. It was great to see how they all spent time engaged in the same activity.
