World Book Day - 2025
On Thursday 6th March 2025, we had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day yesterday. It was lovely to see all of the children dressed up in their costumes and bright colours. We spent the day reading and talking about the book, 'The Invisible by Tom Percival' and engaging in writing opportunities. We also met with our reading buddy class to share our favourite books!
On Thursday 7th of March 2024 we celebrated World Book Day, where the children (and staff!) came dressed up as their favourite Fable characters and wrote their own 'Fable' based on a moral. The children produced fantastic pieces of writing and thoroughly enjoyed reading and listening to different fables. Make sure you ask them to tell you all about their very own characters and plot twists that they came up with! At the end of the day the whole school came together in a virtual assembly and also created a whole school ‘Fable’ too! We all had a great day and thank you for all your support with the amazing costumes!
