Today we investigated propaganda posters from 1948 Windrush Generation. The children then created their own persuasive slogan and images to create their own propganda posters for persuade a nation to come to Britain.

Year 6 have been studying the Ancient African Kingdoms and Empires this week.
Although many of us had heard of the Ancient Egyptians, we had never heard of civilisations such as The Kingdom of Aksum 100BC - AD940 and The Kingdom of Benin AD 900 - 1897.
Here we are doing some research on our chosen Kingdom to present to display in class.
Geography - 16.09.2022
This week, in Geography, Year 6 have been learning about the lines of longitude and latitude on out globe. We learnt how to location places on the globe using different scales and different maps.
Robinwood Activity Centre 07.09.2022
Year 6 were lucky enough to start off their year with a residential visit to Robinwood Activity Centre in Alston, Cumbria. We had a fabulous time! We took part in canoeing, raft building, ziplining and wall climbing, to just name a few!
