Let's Explore!
We have enjoyed exploring our new school, classroom and outdoor habitats as part of our project 'Let's Explore'. We then explored images of Heywood and compared them to images from the past. It was interesting for us to see our school before it was extended in some old photographs!
We have located our school on Google Maps and some of the places that we remembered such as B and M, Morrisons and the barbers!
Welcome to Reception
We have had a fantastic first week in Reception making lots of friends and exploring our new environment. The children have settled in really well and are already displaying our values of being ready, respectful and safe.
We have begun our new project 'Let's Explore' where we have looked at the different places around school and the people that work there. We even went into Mrs Cunningham's office and talked to her about her role in our school.
