As part of our 'How did the Vikings cope without electricity?' science unit, Year 4 have been investigating and creating electrical circuits. After learning about each component in the circuit, the children created their own series circuits before investigating why specific circuits were not working. 

As part of our 'Why should the rainforest be important to us all?' topic, we have this year had a visit from a number of rainforest animals. We learnt all about the different animals that were brought into our classrooms and we were even lucky enough to hold and touch them! The animals we were visited by included a snake, a lizard, a frog, a tortoise and a water dragon.
