Home Learning
Home Learning for Year 5
At Woodland Community Primary School, we believe that a little practice at home can make a big difference to children’s confidence and progress. There are a number of ways you can support your child’s learning at home using the platforms provided by school.
📝 Weekly Spellings
Weekly spellings will be sent home via ClassDojo every Wednesday.
Children will then be tested on these spellings in class on the following Monday.
We encourage children to practise their spellings regularly throughout the week. They can do this using Spelling Shed, which provides a fun and engaging way to practise and reinforce their weekly spelling words.
