We discussed how some children and adults have a diagnosis of Autism.

We spoke about how Autism gives individuals a unique view of the world and that being inclusive really helps everyone feel included. We spoke about people with Autism may need additional things to help them in school, as everyone deserves to be successful.

We thought about a pick n mix and how every sweet is different but just as wonderful!

We generate ideas of what we would like:

• Everyone dress up as a sweet on Wednesday 2^nd April.
• Do a “guess the number of sweets jar” to raise money for charity as well as spreading awareness.
• Each year group to design their own sweet so we can create a display.

We will put our ideas together, seek permission from the Senior Leadership Team and then begin to form an advertisement campaign to share our wonderful event. Watch this space!
