SEND Parental Surveys - Rochdale Borough Council Delivering Better Value

Dear parent / carers

Rochdale Borough Council are currently working on a project called Delivering Better Values in SEND which is supported by the Department for Education and is focusing on how, as a Service, we can improve the outcomes for children and young people.

We know that we are not getting it right for every child or young person right now, but we are committed to evaluating and improving our services in order to make improvements.

At the conclusion of this survey we will be submitting an application for grant funding to improve the SEND system. This will take place in late June and your input will be really important in shaping the future for our children and young people with SEND.

We want to put children and young people at the heart of this plan, and your views as a parent or carer are really important to make sure we're focusing on the areas that you feel we need to improve and would make the biggest impact.

Please fill out the below survey to help us understand your views and experiences about your child or young person's current educational setting.

If you have more than one child with a special educational need, please fill out the form for each of your children individually. This is aimed mainly at parents and carers of young people currently under 25.

This survey closes on the 28th of April 2023, and should only take 5 minutes to complete. You can access the survey by clicking on the link below.
