Specific Duties

English Ambassadors:

• Attend meetings with the English Team once every half-term.
• Support teachers in delivering English across school.
• Share your voice and ideas on how English is taught.
• Promote a love of reading for pleasure.
• Encourage neat handwriting and good presentation in workbooks.
• Suggest ways to help children improve their spelling.
• Help plan and promote English competitions.
• Lead by example, showing respect to everyone.
• Listen to and share ideas from other children.
• Make decisions that help improve English at Woodland.
• Assist in organising and leading English enrichment events, such as World Book Day.
