Spring 1
This week, the children in the Orchard have been focusing on healthy eating and the choices we can make for healthier options. They enjoyed being able to make fruit kebabs with all the healthy choices we had spoken about and got to work with some of our older children in the Meadows as well.
This half term, the children have been working hard on their topic "Splash". We have been looking at different underwater animals each week. This week we are focusing on Jellyfish. The children enjoyed being creative and making their own Jellyfish in Art. We have been learning lots of facts all about Jellyfish and the different types of Jellyfish we can find all over the world.
During Spring 1, Miss Birch has been working with the Orchard children in the Forest School. They have been developing a range of different skills including: Den building Planting and gardening, pond dipping, creating dens and making different arts and crafts to display in the Forest School.
