Design technology day
On Thursday 21st March, we came off timetable to learn all about some ‘functional and fancy fabrics’. We looked at different fabrics and some everyday objects to see how suited they were for their particular uses. We followed this with some research on the well known designer William Morris. After sketching out some of his popular motifs, we then finished the day with some printing using carved wooden blocks.
MILITARY SCHOOL
This spring term, Elm are taking part in weekly sessions with the UK Military School. The sessions will incorporate lots of aspects of team building and allowing the children to develop their leadership skills.
