As part of our Design and Technology topic 'Chop, Slice and Mash' Oak Class have been enjoying fruit tasting! The children were able to try a range of different fruits from banana to lemon and were asked to discuss their taste, texture and appearance.
This week Oak Class have been learning about making equal groups in our Mathematics lesson, the children were able to access this lesson by taking part in practical activities with their peers. The children were asked to identify how many equal groups there were, how many objects in each group and how many objects there was altogether.
Wild flower hunting with Oak Class- This week Oak class have been searching for wild flowers in our pond area, the children were encouraged to use key vocabulary when discussing the features of their flowers.
