As Year 5 reach the end of their Space topic, the children investigated the different phases of the moon using Oreos! Everyone really enjoyed scraping off the different amounts of filling to show the different amounts of the surface of the Moon that can be seen.

This week, the children have been investigating their text type and looking at the features. Working in groups, the children had to match the labels to the parts and pull out the different types of language they could identify.
