About
Supporting Families in Rochdale is part of a national programme set up by the Government to work with children and families who may be having difficulty in some of the following areas;
- School attendance and engagement with education
- Parenting, managing behaviour
- Early Years development
- Family relationships
- Mental and physical health
- Substance misuse
- Housing issues
- Domestic abuse and conflict
- Antisocial behaviour and crime
- Financial instability
It is also part of Greater Manchester regional approach to working with families with complex needs. The programme looks at how we work with families at an earlier stage to reduce the risk of developing more complex needs.
