Year 2

Summer

Year 2 have been composing aleatoric music which is when the element of choice is left to chance. They have been doing this using dice. Each number represented a different note length or rest and then the children made their own rhythms. They then tried to play these rhythms on Recorders.

They have also been doing lots of singing in their lessons too as well as continuing to play the recorder.
