In today's Forest School session, Year 2 focused on developing their knot skills. Children took it in turns to practice a double knot and a bowline. We spoke about how we can use these knots in the next couple of weeks when practicing putting shelters up. Well done Year 2!

In our second Forest School lesson, Year 2 explored the pond area using a magnifying glass and bug catching to go on a bug hunt. Children found lots of different bugs and told Miss Birch the features using the equipment provided. Well done Y2, great exploring skills! 

Our new Year 2 Forest School group focused on exploring the pond area today, they worked together as a team to identify a range of trees, leaves and bugs in the forest school. They also put their own waterproofs and wellies on. Well done Year 2!
