In this topic, children have learning about data bases. They have created a program in purple mash and have been using this to debug their programs as they work.

Using purple mash this half term, we have been making concept maps. In our first lessons, we have been experimenting using the program to generate maps. We are next going to create our own concept maps!

In year 5 this term, children have been looking into different games using purple mash. They have been evaluating different games and decided how they can be improved. They have also been starting to plan and design there own games thinking carefully about point scoring, themes and character.
