Colour and Style
This project revisited the children's learning about colour theory, including primary, secondary, tertiary, complementary, analogous, warm and cool colours, hues, tints, shades and tones. They learnt about the use of colour in four art movements before using this knowledge to create a painting with personal meaning.
Inuit
This project taught the children about the Inuit way of life, including some of their cultural and artistic traditions.
Trailblazers, Barrier Breakers
This project taught the children in year 6 about significant black artists and their work, and provided opportunities to analyse and create artwork inspired by them.
