NCA - Children's Community Integrated Health service (CICHS)

Children's Community Integrated Health Services (used to be CAON) 

 

The service is for children and young people aged from birth up to 19 years who live or are registered with a GP in Heywood, Middleton or Rochdale (HMR).

Please note the team is now called CICHS - however the descriptions are still appropriate for the teams.

Specialist Services

 

Children’s complex and additional needs service which includes:

  • Children's Community Nurses

  • Children’s Epilepsy Specialist

  • Children’s Diabetes Specialist

  • Children’s Occupational Therapy

  • Children’s Palliative/Complex Care Specialist

  • Children’s Physiotherapy

  • Children’s Respiratory Specialist

  • Children’s Speech and Language Therapy

  • Community Paediatrics Consultants Service

  • Children's Dietetics

     

The service provides advice, information, assessment, intervention, care, treatment and review services to children and young people and their families. Care and treatment is delivered in a range of settings across Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale, including people's own homes, nurseries, children's centres, special schools and clinics.
